The indoor pool looked inviting, but it was
not well maintained during our stay and had an unappealing greenish tint. Despite this, the room was clean and well-equipped, and the staff was friendly, making the overall experience decent.

The hotel's location was excellent, providing easy access to local attractions like the historic train. The staff was generally accommodating, especially when a room change was required. However, the initial room was cramped, and the lack of room service unless explicitly requested was frustrating. Additionally, no breakfast options were available, forcing us to leave for meals, which was unexpected for the price paid.

We had a lovely stay with a clean King Room that surprised us with its size, and the indoor pool was perfect after a long day. Relaxing in the jacuzzi was just what we needed! Only downside was a tiny shower issue, but it didn't ruin our vibe—definitely try the breakfast nearby 😄.

Proximity to Mount Rushmore, walkable downtown area, spacious bathrooms
Oh, where do I start? The rooms are absurdly small, making it hard to move!!! Plus, the WiFi is practically non-existent, and the pool area reeks of chlorine!!! Seriously, some upgrades are a must!!!

The stay was centered around visiting Mount Rushmore, which was just a short drive away. I appreciated the on-site restaurant. the breakfast options were delicious, and the staff there were attentive. However, the lack of regular housekeeping was disappointing since we had to request trash removal and fresh towels multiple times. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but the location made it worthwhile.

A nightmare check-in experience
The location is near key attractions, allowing for easy access to explore the area. It provided a glimpse of what could have been a great trip.
Unfortunately, check-in was chaotic, with long waits and a lack of communication from the staff. The room was far smaller than expected, making it uncomfortable.
